Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I purchased a new victory v92c on 8/30/1999. the transmission was loud when shifting, from the very beginning. my dealer (now out of business)assured me that all was normal .a noisy clunking sound when shifting was the first sympton. false neutrals followed, then missed 3 to 4 shifts, and falling back down to 3rd when shifting to 4th. now with only 4500 miles on the bike, the transmission continues to get worse. i have filed a complaint with nhtsa in 2001 on this same vehicle but did not receive any communication from nhsta and do not see my form on this forum, so i feel re-filing is required.*ak
