| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Aftermaket driver's rear tire tread separated which caused a crash. consumer replaced 2 yokohama tires-super digger 265/70/15 on 3-20-98-one was new and the other was the brand new spare that came with the vehicle. on 12-3-98 consumer replaced the last 2 tires with the same yokohama tires.on 4-2-99 the tread separated causing vehicle to lose control and crash into a bluff, tire manufacturer claims tire failed due to deterioration over time. there was a loss of adhesion within the tire at the edge of the belt package. there was nothing in the roadway during accident. consumer had been to the tire store several times after 12-3-98 because the tires did not drive smoothly.
