| Defect Summary : Vehicle description: electric vehicles. the program logic for the motor electronic control unit (ecu) can mistakenly detect a failure of an electrical current sensor at speeds above 50 mph. if this occurs, the ecu quickly reduces vehicle speed in order to maintain proper feedback control. | Consequence Summary: This can result in a sudden loss of power and unexpected deceleration that could cause a rear-end collision. |
