Defect Summary : The o rings of the regulator assembly in the onan emerald and marquis brand generator sets can weaken and break when exposed to high ambient temperatures. Consequence Summary: If an ignition source is present, liquid propane gas (lpg) leakage could result in a fire.
Corrective Summary : owner notification will be conducted by onan. dealers will either remove the lpg regulator and replace it with a model not subject to rupture, or install a pre-regulator in the fuel system.
