Defect Summary : Vehicle description: transit buses equipped with an auxiliary diesel powered heater (proheat bravo model 80). an improperly assembled fuel regulator can allow an excess amount of fuel into the combustion chamber. |
Consequence Summary: This leakage can lead to a potential for flames to escape from the heater exhaust. |
Corrective Summary : Teleflex canada, the manufacturer of the heater, will inspect and, if necessary, replace all defective regulators. |
