| Defect Summary : Vehicle description: camping trailers equipped with 20 lb. lpg cylinders supplied by manchester tank. these cylinders are equipped with an overfill protection. the overfill protection device may not function properly. |
Consequence Summary: If a cylinder is overfilled, and some of the gas leaks out, the vapors could ignite if there was a source of ignition present. |

Recall Notes: Owner notification by manchester tank began january 28, 1998.owners who do not get their lpg cylinder replaced free of charge within a reasonable time should contact manchester tank/recall management at 1-800-420-7511.also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236). |
