Defect Summary : During assembly, the tie rod end nuts were not properly torqued. extremely low torque can allow movement beween the ball stud and the tie rod arm causing damage. Consequence Summary: This condition can affect the driver's ability tosteer the vehicle increasing the potential for a vehicle accident.
Corrective Summary : Dealers will check the torque on the ball studs of the suspect axles and bring the torque up to rockwell's specifications.
