Defect Summary : The stud welds on the frame can fail, causing the "p" clamps holding the air brake supply lines to disengage from the frame. the air brake supply lines can come to rest on the exhaust system, damaging the lines resulting in a leak to the system, loss of air pressure, and engagement of the spring brakes. | Consequence Summary: Consequence of defect: application of the spring brakes without prior warning can result in loss of vehicle control and an accident. |
