Defect Summary : Straps holding the sleeper upper bunk in the raised position can release without warning. Consequence Summary: If the restraining strap releases suddenly, the bunkfalls without warning and can strike an occupant sitting in the lower bunk causing personal injury.
Corrective Summary : Dealers will modify the attachment of the upper bunk restraining strap to the upper bunk and rear wall of the sleeper and install a new redesigned bunk restraining strap.
