Defect Summary : With the driver seat in the forward most position, the safety belt is excessively tight for persons whose dimensions are those of a 95th percentile male, resulting in non-compliance with fmvss no. 208, "occupant crash protection." | Consequence Summary: The driver would be discouraged from use of the safetybelt assembly due to the uncomfortable fit, exposing the driver to a greaterrisk of serious injury or death in the event of an accident. |
