Defect Summary : The distance from the first thread of the filter to the gasket face is approximately 0.405" and it should be approximately 0.388". this design only allows a few threads to engage when installing on motorcycle and can result in the filter "blowing off." | Consequence Summary: Oil will be sprayed out onto the bike and/or road surface causing the driver to lose control and increase the potential for a vehicle accident. |
