Defect Summary : Positive battery cable lead to the starter solenoid may separate from the routing clamp cutting the insulation on the lead. Consequence Summary: This could cause a short circuit in the electrical system that could result in the engine stopping and the lights going out withpotential for an accident.
Corrective Summary : Modify by installating a rubber grommet in the bracket hole, rerouting and clamping leads to the bracket with a new band. Recall Notes: System: postive battery cable.vehicle description: motorcycles.
