| Defect Summary : Vehicle description: flatbed and dump trailers. these vehicles utilize gunite corporation model 2764 cast steel brake drums and a combination of steel or aluminum wheels produced by other manufacturers. these drums bear date codes between "162 99" and "225 99," inclusive. a stress crack in the metal on the inside brake drum face diameter can occur, resulting in a complete separation from the brake drum. | Consequence Summary: This condition could cause a loss of braking capability. |
